## Common questions

• How do I suggest a new term?*

Open the Submit tab in the app, fill in the outdated term and what you'd say instead, and send it. Every submission is read by a person before it appears in the app.

• Why hasn't my submission appeared?*

Submissions go into a review queue and are published only if approved. We may edit entries for clarity, or decline them if they don't fit the guide. We aren't able to reply individually to every submission.

• I think an entry is wrong.*

Email us with the term and what you think should change, and we'll look at it. You can also vote on any entry in the app.

• How do I report something offensive or abusive?*

Email us at the address above with the term and a short note. We review all reports and act on them within 24 hours.

• Do I need an account?*

No. The app has no sign-in and collects no personal information.

• How do I turn notifications on or off?*

Use your device settings: Settings → Notifications → You Can't Say That Anymore.
